    Hi all, never really had an issue with this consol until today. I have no sound (which is usually easy to fix) but the sliders on the 'Audio & Music' tab are grayed out, so i can't use them. HDMI is fine, tv speakers are fine, i sometimes use an airtrack with sub woofer, but they are good too. Reset didn't help kinda weird. It might be something obvious that i'm not seeing lol. Any help is appreciated

    Turtle Beach X12 no tv sound

    You need the one with the audio adaptor to connect to the x12's, That audio works with the old type of xbox and slims, as i have one.

    Xbox One S - DVD & Blu-ray audio out of sync - DVD audio/video sync worse

    UPDATE: Xbox One S returned. No solution for audio sync issue on DVD/Blu-ray playback.

    After scouring the internet I cannot find a solution. The Xbox Support seems to be correct. There was an issue with the Xbox One S where the audio was not in sync with the video on DVD and Blu-ray playback. I returned the Xbox One S.

    Hopefully few other experience the issue.

    Thank you for your post. I understand you are experiencing an issue with audio on your Xbox One. Besides HDMI and using the Xbox One Controller for audio, the Xbox One supports S/PDIF Optical audio output. For more information, check out this article:

    Hi. If Xbox One X doesn't feature it, then it's not possible for the Xbox One X. Most likely, that IR audio out is for Xbox One and Xbox One S.

    S/Pdif to RCA Audio Adapter for Xbox One

    Xbox One has 2 outputs - one HDMI and one Optical Audio (s/pdif). HDMI carries both audio and video. But if you want to send your audio to a receiver that does not have HDMI inputs, then you can use the optical output from Xbox One. PS4 is exactly the
    same.

    And William is right - if you try converting HDMI to DVI, you will lose the audio on both Xbox and PS4 (unless you are using the separate optical output for audio).
