Xbox One S Audio Sliders are not appearing in the "Home Menu"

Hi, I have a Xbox One S that had an issue pop up only recently. I can no longer access the audio settings to change the microphone monitoring, or any other audio options, on my headset. I used to be able to, but only in the last month or so the option for
that disappeared as well as my settings. I can no longer hear myself speak in my headset which causes me to yell. This happens on all of my controllers, including my Elite Series 2 controller. All of them are fully updated, and I have tried simple restarts
    and full shutdowns as well.

My headset is a VMODA Crossfade. Like I said it used to work, but now I cant access any options to possibly change the audio settings.

Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

    :)

    Forza horizon 4 sound

Check the game's audio settings. Open the game menu (three line button), then select Settings, then select Audio and adjust the 5 sliders appropriately.

    Good luck!

Xbox controller constantly keeps my mic on.

Hello, My name is Jesse. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

What headset is that? You can turn down the volume on the mic in settings. To turn off Mic on Xbox One, proceed to the Xbox One home screen then press the Xbox button. Select the System tab then choose Audio. You will then see three sliders. Adjust the slider towards the left.

    Xbox One party chat problems.

Are you sure your Mics are not turned off. Click home button. Go to the far right and there will be an ‘audio’ setting. Click it and it’s one of the three sliders there. Also make sure your headset
is assigned to your profile by going to the Xbox Accessories app in My Games and Apps. Your headset and its assigned profile should appear there. If the problem still persists, hard reset the Xbox by holding the power button for 10 seconds

    3.5mm jack not working

When the headphones are plugged into the jack, open the Xbox guide, navigate to the rightmost tab, and you should see an "Audio" setting appear between "Settings" and "Xbox Assist". Opening "Audio" should bring you to a new menu with a series of volume sliders
for game/chat audio. Ensure nothing is muted. If it's not appearing, try to see that the headphone jack doesn't have any dust or other particles inside. You can blow it out, or swab gently with a Q-tip or pipe cleaner.

Worst case scenario, the headphone jack might be defective. The quickest solution in this case is to return everything to your retailer for an exchange, since you said you only bought the system less than a week ago. Otherwise, you can send it in to Microsoft
    for repairs here.

Echoing is usually the result of your chat audio being so loud in your ear that it's being picked up by the mic. In the "Audio" menu, you can adjust the "Headset chat mixer" and "Mic monitoring" sliders to reduce the echo. You may need to play around and
    test.

Can't hear the people in my party when playing online!

Sometimes I find that in the Audio menu the slider is all the way to the controller icon, which means you only hear game. Totally thought my headset was bust but then realised it was just that the slider had to put up towards the
icon of the person. Just thought it might be a thought incase!
