XBox One S and Oculus Rift S connections

Thank you for confirming this for me. I will reach out to the Minecraft team to verify if the Oculus version of Minecraft allows users to play it on Windows 10 without the need to use VR. Which Oculus Rift are you using as well? Is it the original Rift, Rift S (both connect to a PC), or the Oculus Quest, Oculus Go? The reason I am asking is that there is a different version of Minecraft for these headsets. I appreciate your patience, thank you, and have a great day.

You can't connect the Rift to an Xbox One S directly. You need to connect it to a Windows 10 PC and stream the game using a special PC application.

If you don't have a VR compatible PC then you're out of luck though.

Even then it's not the same as proper VR. The App makes it seem your in virtual cinema looking at a large screen.

From what I understand Oculus Rift is only compatible with PC's. I've been doing some digging and on their support site it doesn't mention anything about use on consoles.

There is part that mentions you can use an Xbox controller if you want. So that's an option too I suppose.

There is an app on the oculus store that allows you to stream gamplay just like the windows app. The Roft is not compatible in any way with the Xbox hardware otherwise
