    Xbox One S All-Digital


    I purchased two of these not realizing there was no port for a disc. Will Microsoft be giving credit Vouchers for game disc all ready purchased for other Xbox 1 consoles? My grandaughters ware renting other game consoles and we found this one which was
    cheaper and ordered them as a black Friday deal not knowing their disc wouldn't work. Now all their disc are useless because the other consoles was returned. We are just at a lost as to what to do and the kids are completely heartbroken. Is there any way of
    connecting an optical drive to use their games? I'm not very up to date and I feel terrible for getting them these consoles. Can someone please help me?

    Xbox One Series S - I'm confused

    You have names mixed up. There are no consoles named the Xbox One Series S or Xbox One Series X.

    The Xbox One/One S/One X all have a disc drive.

    The Xbox One S All Digital Edition does not have a disc drive.

    The Xbox Series X has a disc drive.

    The Xbox Series S does not have a disc drive.

    All the consoles can play backward compatible games. The Series S and One S all digital edition can only play games digitally downloaded.

    The other consoles can play games from disc and from digitally downloaded,

    I hope this clears things up for you.

    no. I believe you still need to get the digital version of the game if you're referring to Xbox series S or all digital Xbox one S

    You keep saying you have an Xbox S, but is that an Xbox One S or an Xbox Series S? The All Digital is typically a One S which wouldn't be compatible.
