Xbox One S All Digital Won't Recognize USB

Hi everyone,

I purchased the Xbox One S All Digital version at Target last night and later once I had gotten home, I tried inserting my USB in order to change its background. It wouldn't recognize the drive for some reason. I tried all the ports, I've reset the console
through settings, I have also done a hard reset but still no success. The USB worked on my (now broken) Day One Xbox One and Xbox One Elite consoles. The USB is a 2.0, does that make any difference? Should I spring for a newer one or is this something I need
to have checked? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

You cant change the background

Any usb device can only be at least 256gig and ready boost compliant which means usb 2 is a no go

Hi.

You need to purchase digital copy of games as physical copy won't work on Xbox One S All Digital console.

Hello i just bought an xbox one s controller and so far everything works fine but i'm having the same issue as the op, if i connect the pad via usb the bluetooth won't recognize it later...

Is there any news or any fix yet?

Summary: I fixed it by plugging USB cable into a controller and pc, win 10 recognized it, system restart was required and after that controller was working wirelessly also.

Longer description: I installed fresh windows 10, downloaded and installed all win updates, then I tried all these steps and at the end controller started working.

1) plugged wireless adapter into USB windows 10 recognized it but Xbox one controller won't connect (keep on blinking)

2) plugged wireless adapter into another USB port but Xbox one controller won't connect (keep on blinking)

3) plugged wireless adapter into another USB port started task manager removed Xbox one adapter, windows found it again but still noting (gamepad keep on blinking)

4) plugged wireless adapter into another USB port (front) started task manager removed Xbox one adapter and Xbox drivers, windows found it again installed it but still noting (gamepad keep on blinking)

5) FINALLY, I fixed it by plugging USB cable into a controller and pc, win 10 recognized it, system restart was required and after that controller was working wirelessly also.
