Xbox One S All Digital crash and shutdown

Has anyone else experienced any problems that with low internet signal, the power button starts rapidly blinking and then any game sounds begin to sound like a corrupted game file, then with little warning the entire console shuts down, with the only way to turn it back on is to use the console power button? I've attempted a factory reset, which did not fix the issue. It doesn't do it with every game, and it only does it with just the MMORPG reliant games and with low wifi signal. I don't have the option to hard wire the console. If anyone has any suggestions or fixes, please pass them along.

    :)

Hello dear Gamer, first it's a pleasure to be able to help you today.

    My name is Vinicius.

I am a gamer and independent advisor on the XBOX community platform.

Hey arkvalleyguy, how are you today? Hope you're well.

This happens only when playing MMORPG games and if your console has a low signal to your network? Only in these two situations alone?

    That's odd.

    Try this on your console:

First, clean the cache of your console that way:

    1. With the console turned on, hold the XBOX power button on the console for 10 seconds until you hear a small sound.

    2. Wait 10 seconds.

    3. Turn it back on.

Note: It may take a while for it to turn on, don't worry, it's normal.

Then, restore your console keeping the games and apps:

***IMPORTANT*** If you share accounts with someone, you will have to redo the process of placing the account as the main one again, be aware of the chances you still have to do this, as Microsoft makes available per year, only 5 chances so you can make some account your console's main account. Make Sure to know all passwords and email addresses of your accounts, you will need to log then back in. :)

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the dashboard.

    2. Select System > Settings > System > Console Information >

    3. Select Reset console > Restore and keep my games and apps.

    4. When asked to pull settings from an old Xbox, choose no, thanks

    5. You will have to log in to your accounts again, and when you sign in with your account, make sure you turn it has your home console also, that's it.

NOTE: Rest assured, you won't lose games or saves

    Then try those two procedures:

    Press the Xbox button.

Move right to the System Tab.

    Scroll down and select Settings.

    Scroll down to Network.

    Select Network Settings.

Scroll down and select Advanced Settings.

Scroll down and select Alternate MAC Address.

Select the Clear button, then restart your console.

    And,

Press the Xbox button on your controller.

    Go to Settings.

    Select Network.

    Select Network Settings.

    Select Advanced Network Settings.

    Select DNS Settings.

Select Manual and enter the following: Primary 8.8.8.8. Secondary 8.8.4.4.

Thank you for the troubleshooting suggestions. With the exception of the last one, I've attempted all the others in hopes they would correct the issue, but nothing has resolved it. The signal strength was 1 to 2 bars and the only games that seemed to be effected were call of duty, dead by daylight, and the only nonmmorpg that experienced an issue was injustice 2. It still shuts down by itself at random with the low signal and the only way to power the console back up is to press the main power button on the console, even after the hard reboot technique.

    Xbox One Series S - I'm confused

You have names mixed up. There are no consoles named the Xbox One Series S or Xbox One Series X.

The Xbox One/One S/One X all have a disc drive.

The Xbox One S All Digital Edition does not have a disc drive.

The Xbox Series X has a disc drive.

The Xbox Series S does not have a disc drive.

All the consoles can play backward compatible games. The Series S and One S all digital edition can only play games digitally downloaded.

The other consoles can play games from disc and from digitally downloaded,

I hope this clears things up for you.

Does having a game disk in XboxX allow me to play the digital version on XboxS on my home network?

no. I believe you still need to get the digital version of the game if you're referring to Xbox series S or all digital Xbox one S
