Is this happening on all profiles? If its only for yours, you can try removing
your profile from the console, and then re-signing in. If this happens on all profiles, or you don't have any other to test, then a soft factory reset should help you out.

You will not have to redownload any games or apps, and you will not lose any saved data if you were playing with your console connected to a network. Please note that you will have to re-sign into any profiles you use on this console. Make sure you
know the emails and passwords before continuing.

This fix is only temporary also I have only one profile.

Will Microsoft be publishing a Hotfix Build to fix Error Code 0xc0000189 ?

Also please send this to Microsoft is Development Team so they can open a Jira bug with this error code to fix please and not waive this issue as many Xbox Users are experiencing it.

If the bug happens to be already entered and they know about it and don't want to fix it for wtv reason can they please re-open the bug and please fix this error code as the repro rate is 100%.

This fixed my problem as well.

I have an xbox one x, xbox one s and a day one edition all 3 would not work today. All 3 have separate accounts and gave this error code. I cleared the xbox 360 local storage on only the xbox one x and it fixed all 3 consoles some how.
