Xbox One remote slow / lag

    Xbox One remote slow / lag


    Since around 6-12 months (after an update) my original xbox one remote is ridiculously slow. It takes around 2-3 Seconds to register a "second" input after the first was registered and the system responded. My xbox one controller works in "normal" speed,
    so ists not a system / hardware / sth problem. Its the remote.

    I tried reinstalling the system offline (as suggested here Xbox One Official Media Remote is now VERY slow) but no change.

    How do I fix this? This used to work perfectly and I am getting really pissed because I use my xbox as a media center and it sucks to use the system this way.

    Yeah but the lag makes it useless. I will say that my HDMI Switch works though it kinda sucks because the voice command is "Xbox Watch Channel" and that's it.. it's slow, doesn't work that often and end up just using the remote which let's me select what
    input I want.

    its open i should be the fast one but they are rewarding slow internet by lagging me to compensate the slow people im over it

    Xbox One Official Media Remote is now VERY slow

    I am also experiencing the same issues with my Xbox One Media Remote, When i first purchased the remote it made things 10x easier but now it is slow to respond and i can no longer hold down the button for 3 seconds to turn my console off.

    This started happeing about 2-3 weeks ago, i reverted back to using the Xbox One Controller for now until the Meida Remote is working again.
