Xbox one REconnection to AT&T Internet issues

I have the same issue while playing Destiny and now with Destiny 2. Tons of fun you are in a raid and you just drop off the internet map and nothing works on the Xbox. I have to restart the console to be able to reconnect to the party and game. I thought
for a long time it was Destiny taking a s^&t but after reading this thread, it is all hardware in the Xbox One s and a massive issue that has no solution.

here is a tip, was getting the same issue.

i solved it by disconnecting from the internet, then logging in one only the Xbox one. once it logged me in local, i reconnected to the internet. was able to hop into a match and play online. hope this helps.

Thank you, I did realize though in one of my later attempts and when reconnecting to internet that it was the Xbox servers experiencing issues.

I have had this problem in the past. You may need to restart your internet router and then go into your Xbox internet settings and reconnect there. If that does not work, try doing a hard Xbox reset by holding down the Xbox button onyour console for 10 seconds
until it begins to blink. Allow your Xbox to complete the reset and go to the internet setting t check the connection.
