Xbox one randomly beeping

So everything was working fine, but I rearranged. In the process I unplugged everything from my Xbox one.

When I got everything hooked back up and turned back on I noticed a beeping sound.

It only happens when it’s on, and it’s more like a squeal. It’s intermittent and random. It will change volume and pitch, then go away for a little bit.

I’ve tried all the reset I read but I can’t find anyone else experiencing this issue.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

I reset the console as instructed and so far with 2 hrs of constant use it hasn’t repeated the issue.

Thank you, still curious as to what the issue was but happy that it appears to be fixed

Thank you so much for the update. Kindly try and perform a powercycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

I have repositioned again, made sure everything has plenty of room to breath and no external hard drive.

Still doing it. I’m at a loss as to what it is

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

If this started happening after you have rearranged the Xbox, kindly reposition the Xbox console.

Also, if you have an external hard drive kindly unplug in the meantime and then observe if the sound will still be there.
