XBox One quits updating and I get an error message

Same issues here as of this morning, it was all working fine last night.

I have a Xbox One and Xbox One S and both have the exact same error code.

I will try the hard boot when I get home but I'm hoping in 9 hours they will have fixed the issues with the XBOX server as that's what the actual error message (0x8B050033) is saying when checking with MS Support.

I hope they are looking at this as there is quite a few people reporting this currently.

So will try later and if that doesn't work maybe the hard-reboot will do the job...

I get the message from the Xbox that everything is good - no errors.

I don't think that Ryse needed to update, but my console completed the day one update fine.

Choose "I need to troubleshoot a system update error"

Next choose your version of the Xbox One

After choose the option "I AM GETTING AN ERRO MESSAGE OR AN ERROR CODE"

It's going to ask if you see a troubleshooter select NO

Now on this page you should choose the option "THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE UPDATE"

Choose the closes one to the error code "87DDXX"

From there the troubleshooter will guide you.

To resolve this problem, use the Xbox One System Update Solution:

Go to the
support.xbox.com/.../system-updates-solution

Select I am getting an error message or an error code.

Select I am getting an error code.

Scroll down the screen and select E101 XXXXXXXX XXXXXXXX.

Follow the instructions in Step 4 to successfully update your console.
