    The XB1 can install updates while it's in instant on mode, and the restart options will have the same effect.

    Don't worry, nothing has been announced yet regarding when Xbox One consoles, in general, will stop receiving software updates, and it will likely be several years before that begins to happen. Keep in mind that the updates currently being made to Xbox Series X|S consoles are the same as those made to all Xbox One consoles because both generations use the same operating system and software.

    If you'd like my personal opinion, I recommend getting an Xbox Series X|S console if you have the budget since game developers are gradually releasing games on the Xbox Series version only rather than the Xbox One version. This is due to the hardware limitations when developing games for the previous generation consoles. That's the only disadvantage I see in buying an Xbox One in these times, but in terms of software updates, there's no difference since it's the same as the new-generation consoles.

    Hello,

    Unless the box of the console or the accessories you're getting states that there is something extra in terms of arcade games then there would be. If it doesn't state that, then there is nothing.

    As far as the Xbox 360 320GB Hard Drive when purchased new in retail packaging it includes a code inside the box for the actual game, or games.

    The only pre-installed arcade game on XBox 360 consoles is Hexic HD, which is also available as a free download from the Marketplace in case you deleted it.
