  3. Right trigger randomly stopped working

I was using a Mini Pro Ex wired 360 controller. It was working just fine. I last played Bayonetta before playing another console for a while. When I went back to 360 to try to play Halo, I realized I couldn't shoot. The right trigger inexplicably stopped
working. Nothing happened to the controller to cause this. Every other button works fine. The right trigger is not sticky or loose or jammed or anything. It just won't function. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I can't play any Xbox games until
I get a new controller; and I had hardly used that Mini Pro Ex.

    Hi Thorn,

Thanks for reaching out to us! We are more than happy to assist. The controller is an Xbox One Pro Ex and you found drivers online for it but it doesn't work. When you say it does not work, do you mean it is not recognizing the controller or what happens?

Try to run the Hardware Devices troubleshooter. These troubleshooters aren't designed to fix every problem, but they're a useful tool to try because they can often save time and effort.

    a) Press “Windows Logo” + “W” keys from the keyboard.

    b) Type “Troubleshooting” in the search bar and press “Enter”.

    c) In the “Troubleshooting” window, click on “View All” on the left pane.

    d) Click on “Hardware and Devices"

    f) Click “Next” and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.

How to remove software from XBOX game bar?

    Hi Cliff,

    Thank you for your reply.

I am unable to find the GP-Pro EX Simulation software in the list of widgets,

After uninstalling the GP-Pro EX Simulation software, it did disappear from the XBox Game Bar.

But I need to use the GP-Pro EX Simulation software for work, and don't want to see it in XBox Game Bar.

What can I do to achieve this goal?

    Regards,

    Anthony

Modifying a joystick for disabled people.

    Hey there Inverse,

The Xbox community is always looking for ways to grow and bring games to everyone. In that spirit, I do not know of an official Microsoft controller that would be suited for your needs. This is definitely something I would recommend posting in our Console
    Feedback forums
to help ensure that the right eyes see it.

Also, while they are not official support options, there are a few models of controllers that have been reported to be very useful for people who have difficulty using the standard controller:
