Xbox One Party doesnt work or isnt simple

i have this annoying issue as well...is this why there isnt voice messaging because MS doesnt know how to do something that was simple and worked fine on their older system? Almost a year later and they still cant get party chats to work right, still cant
send voice messages....very disheartening, also very concerning.

Completely disagree with the report, for starters the journalist doesnt compare the two different services. For example, to start a multiplayer game on Xbox Live I know exactley what I have to do, go into multiplayer, start a party and then invite the people
who are already in my party (isnt party chat just great?)

On the Playstation it isnt that simple, why? because Sony lets each developer come up with their own way of getting people into a game, some allow you too send a message that the players can either agree to join or ingnore. Some required you to the player
to already be in the game. It literally took me and my friend ten minutes too work out how to start a co-op game on Uncharted 2.

At the end of the day I prefer the unified aspect of xbox Live, I.E everything is the same, doesnt matter if I'm playing Need For Speed or Halo 4, I always know how to start a multiplayer game and its literally a few clicks away.

Hello there

The symobol at the top right isnt a mute symbol lots of people thing it is but it isnt. If there is a mic attached it turns too a pic of a headset. What confusses people is that sometimes the console or controller doesnt see the headset that is attached
and there for doesnt show the headset pic.

A few things too do you need too find out if its a headset issue or a controller issue or possable (unlikley) a console issue

Make sure your controller is updated

Try the headset on a other device like a pc or phone if it works there you know it isnt the headset. If it doesnt work on a other device then the headset is falutly/brokon

Try pluging the headset into a other xbox controller sometimes the 3.5mm port on the controller goes bad and the console wont see the pic. If it works on a other controller then the controller is the issue.

If your in the xbox insider program there is a issue where some 3rd party headsets are having issues.
