    Xbox One Original will not turn on


    Just yesterday I started having this issue where whenever I try to turn on my xbox it will make the sound like it is turning on and then about 10-15 seconds later it will shut off without even loading the home screen. The LED light on the power brick is
    currently orange however when I attempt to turn on my Xbox it will turn to white and then back to orange when the Xbox shuts itself off. Yesterday I called Microsoft and the guy on the phone was able to solve my problem until the next time I tried to turn
    it on and It did the same thing. I did the exact same steps he had me do before and have had no luck. Is this likely an issue with the power brick or the console itself?

    If letting the brick cool down for 10 minutes worked last time then the possible culprit may be the brick itself. If you have a friend nearby who has an xbox one console then see if you can use his brick on your console to see if it works. If it does then
    you'll need to replace your brick. If it does not then you'll need to send the console in for repairs.

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have an issue with
    console not turning on    . If it has overheated significantly, this could of damaged the console extensively, where it will not function properly any longer.

    Thank you for bringing this situation to our attention. I understand your console is no longer booting up is that correct? Please review this support article and try some of the steps listed withing:

    Your Xbox One X, Xbox One S, or original Xbox One console won't turn on

    You can also plug the console into a different outlet and see if that helps.

    If the light on the power supply block is orange not blue/white unplug from the wall and wait for the light to die and plug back in. Sometimes with all the unplugging it reads a power failure and wont power back up.
