    Xbox one original console Sync button does not seem to work


    Hi, in my xbox one console, sync button in the left side no longer seems to work, despite I can feel push button being pressed Xbox led no longer blinks and can´t connect controls. I did a restore to see if it was software related but it wasn´t fixed. Is
    there a way to test that with SW tester? Is there an app to activate this sync via software?

    A of today I need to connect controls thru a cable to play. I can also successfully connect thru BT with my Win10 laptop.

    Could be related that for old controls sometimes they get connected wireless but they soon disconnect.

    Hi there,

    Have you by any chance tried connecting the controller via USB? A couple times myself I have had syncing issues, and connecting them via USB has fixed the issue. Hopefully this will fix your sync too.

    Yes, I actually use it with USB cable but as long as I disconnect it stops working again.

    The controller should make a pair with the console with a micro USB cable that supports data transfer such as the Play & Charge kit Microsoft sells.
    Hi, This is how I´m currently connecting controls but as soon as I disconnect cable it stops working.
