    Xbox One OneGuide code DCX525 TV remote


    Hello, i have a **** DCX525 for watch TV via satellite. It was working well a couple of days ago on my Xbox but now it's not working anymore, i tought it could be the remote code, at the beggining used to be C1376, then i looked on forums here on xbox.com
    and i found another one that used to work: C0476, but after a couple of minutes it didn't work anymore just like the other one, now when i try those codes or my cable box configuration nothing works. This cable box is from VTR Chile.

    Please help me!

    xbox 1 not changing the channels on vip 722 receiver

    JuddMan - Couple of things:

    1. What does your "Cable or Satellite box model" say under Settings - TV & OneGuide Settings - Devices?

    2. What is your remote code under Settings - TV & OneGuide - Troubleshooting - Enter Device Remote Code - Enter Cable Or Satellite Box Remote Code?

    3. What is your "IR Delay" under under Settings - TV & OneGuide - Troubleshooting - IR delay: ?

    4. Is your 722 a ViP722 DVR or just 722?

    5. Did this all work automatically or did you have to individually enter the satellite box information?

    I am assuming the Live TV functionality is still working, just not the voice commands? If that's the case, I recommend checking our

    OneGuide Troubleshooting page     for steps to start out with. In addition to that page, give these steps a shot as well to make sure the proper remote codes are entered:

    • From the Xbox One Dashboard, scroll to the left to open up the Xbox One Guide.
    • Within the Guide, scroll down and select 'All settings'.
    • Within the settings screen, scroll down to 'TV & OneGuide' and select 'Device control'.
    • Select 'Cable or satellite box'.
    • Select 'Cable or satellite box setup' and run through those steps.
    You may need to manually enter the remote codes. For the device you provided, try the remote code '1877'.

    Hey TimberedFlyer29 - for Panasonic TVs to get a long signal, go to TV & OneGuide settings -> Device Control -> TV -> Enter a remote code and enter one of these guys to get one that works:

    T1636

    T3436

    T3825

    T3834

    I was able to solve this issue with my Vizio E371VA by manually entering a remote code in Settings>TV&OneGuide>Troubleshooting.

    My TV Owner’s Manual listed two remote codes to try when programming other remotes to work with the TV. Xbox auto-detected my TV model and defaulted to the first, but after manually changing the code to the alternate I have no longer experienced this issue.
