Xbox One One Guide Not Available in Canada

Is there a specific time frame that the Xbox One One guide will be available in Canada? I was really looking forward to this feature and this was one of the main reasons why I purchased the Xbox One instead of the Ps4. Also I find this very
unfair because Canadians were still required to pay $500 but they were missing out on one of the most advertised features of the console and Microsoft has provided no updates.

OneGuide TV support in Canada, and more coming to Xbox One in June!

Xbox one guide, good improvement for canada but does not cover Ota (over the air). So for me it is not working. Still dreaming of the service ofered in the u.s. Where OTA is coverred by one guide.

One Guide TV Listing not available in Canada

I asked the XBOX ONE Trucks crew when they were in Toronto, and they stated Microsoft said it would be there at launch, when I a non Microsoft employee knew that it wasn't going to be there at launch. Microsoft couldn't even manage all of North America
with the XBOX ONE Guide, all that tech useless because I still have to use my slow Rogers box guide. As someone with a 12 year old Gamertag, I'm disappointed with the fact Microsoft wasn't able to get this feature in place since its just meta data...

It is not just to our awesome neighbors to the north (Canada), OneGuide is US only for the launch period. We look forward to launching OneGuide in Canada in the near future.

We look at the Xbox One as an ever evolving eco-system. The console you see today will not be the same console 6 month/1 year/ etc. down the line. If you take the 360 as an example, from the blades dashboard to what it is today, what a difference! Even in
the video/audio quality it is much better than it was. The same will be true here, this is the first step in the evolution of “next gen” consoles. Please hang in there. We will be bringing out updates to fix and improve things like this. Thank you for understanding.

I think you should give non-US users a discount from the costs of Xbox Live until OneGuide is working. This feels like a partial experience, and with no timeline, there's no guarantee that we will ever get it.

I don't see a very strong commitment level from Microsoft on this one. You're letting me down!

 

I agree with kleptovoltron, it is not fair at all and with all the glitches that are happening to my XBox One, not fair at all! Please Microsoft do something?

 

I would like OneGuide to work with my Over the Air setup on Windows Media Center. I did manage to verify my solution works end to end including OneGuide by changing my locale to U.S. Trouble is of course the listings are not for my channels! I just need
the OneGuide to be made available in Canada and I'll be a happy camper! It's spring 2014 what is the hold up? Is it going to take a letter to Mr. Nadella?

 

Canada support should arrive in the April update.

People with the xbox preview should be testing it now.

The following countries should be added if all goes well in the testing.

Canada, UK, France, Germany, Spain and Italy
