    Xbox One - Offline game access


    Why can my son not access his games on the Xbox 1 when it is offline - no internet access. Games bought now do not appear in his library.

    Is there a fix for this ?

    Is this the only Xbox One you have? If so, then log in with the account that purchased the games and make the console the Home Xbox, this should let you play the game offline. You have to be online to make the console the home Xbox though.

    the account must be as primary or home on your console to be able to access the content without being connected to the internet. if this as a secondary it is necessary to be co-ected

    Hey there Goofygiz,

    Thank you for reaching out to us on the forums, if you do not have any network connection then you should still be able to access your games as long as your Xbox is setup as your Home console.

    If you do not have the Home console setup then unfortunately you won't be able to access the games while offline, Take a look at the following support page for more information on playing your games offline.

    If you didn't have your console as your Home before the ban, there is no way to set it as your Home now. There is no way around that.
