    Xbox One not saving gameplay clips when streaming from console to phone


    So, I dunno if this is something that can't happen or not, but I'm getting an error code of 0x82323023, saying I can't save clips. However, last night, after playing a game for a bit, it eventually gave me the option to save clips, but, for whatever reason, it wouldn't save any clips when I prompted it to. It can save screenshots just fine, but clips are in freefall or whatever it could be called. And yes, I made sure it's from my console and not just xCloud(btw, nice job with xCloud, it streams a ton better than PS4 Remote Play and I think better than PS Now does over wifi). Any help for this would be greatly appreciated.

    If its long gameplay videos, use OneDrive. If it's just short clips that you recorded on Xbox one, you can use the Xbox app and save the clips on your phone.

    Sorry to hear you're having trouble. However, it is not possible to record a clip while streaming to a service from the console as the processor is working on streaming. However, you should head over to Beam.pro and set up the system to save your streams.
    The service will save streams for 14 days so you can download and take whatever clips you need

    Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums! Just to clarify, what exactly are you trying to stream from YouTube? Or are you trying to stream gameplay to YouTube? If you are trying to stream to YouTube from your Xbox One console you will not be able to do so.
    Instead you can create clips of moments during gameplay and then upload those to a PC then upload them to YouTube.

    Thank you for coming to the Xbox forums. Unfortunately, you cannot record your voice using the built in video recording feature. There are some other ways you can achieve this, but it is not possible using the Xbox game clip feature. One way would be to
    use a capture card like an Elgato to record your gameplay or you can stream through Twitch and enable archiving, which will save your videos for 14 days that you can then download from Twitch's website to save on your PC or upload to a storage device. I'm
    not sure how well this works, but you can also try streaming your gameplay to the Xbox App for Windows 10 and then use a streaming software like OBS to record and save your gameplay. All of this should record gameplay and voice.
