    Xbox one not responding


    Xbox one home screen and menus are not responding to A button. I have tried 4 different controllers. I cannot open any menus or apps. I managed to do a factory reset, the xbox responsed to my commands during setup before i logged into my account. It was all working fine yesterday, perhaps there has been an update? PS after spamming the A button on my controller for a while it eventually takes my command. The A button works fine during typing for example. Also i can see the icon blinking while pressing.

    I’m sorry for the trouble. Do you an external hard drive plugged into your console? A corrupted hard drive may cause these issues as well.

    Hi Ringo, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    ​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Unplug the console for 2-5 minutes.

    3. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    Thank you so much for the update. It's an odd issue. Do you have 5G data turned on as of the moment? If yes, kindly turn them off and then turn on your newer controllers along with your old controllers.

    No, i dont have one.

    Update: I have 2 older controllers originally for xbox one. These both work normally. I also have 2 newer controllers for series xs, that have been working great so far, but the moment i turn one of the newer ones on, all controllers stop responding.. Any ideas?
