Xbox One not downloading game updates while in Instant-On power option?

Sup everyone, I've been using the Instant-On power option for quite some time already in order to auto-download my game updates and it was working wonderfully. Nonetheless, it has stopped working since approximately 2 months ago. When I leave a game updating
during the night (for instance: Modern Warfare) and turn off my Xbox with the Instant-On feature activated, the next day that I check how's the update going, results that the update stopped where it was when I turned off the Xbox. Even though I have Instant-On
activated as mentioned before, all the update settings to be up to date, and the "When my Xbox is turned off, turn off storage" option unchecked. This has been very annoying because I have to leave my Xbox on in order to download the updates and I don't have
a high-speed internet connection.

Don't know if this problem just happens with certain games or all games. If anybody knows any solution to this problem or if it's going to get fix sometime, please let me know.

PD: I have restarted my Xbox several times and deactivate and activate all the options that have to do something with this, and it didn't fix the issue. I have an Xbox One S.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have question on auto updates. This is due to a change in the system. Microsoft has made it so big updates do not update automatically for now due to the world issues currently. Personally I have to install
some updates manually also.

Obsessive Power

You must set your Xbox One to 'Instant On' to allow downloads to take place when not actively using the console. When Instant On is enabled in the options, the console goes into a low power state when you press the power button or turn the console off via
the dashboard.

While in instant on, full games, DLC apps and game updates will happen automatically by default.

Go into settings then select the tab that has power. There you will find the option to put your console on instant on and be able to select download updates while in instant on mode. Hope this helps.

I have the Power Options set to "Instant-on". There is no "option to download games in the background", only "Automatically download updates". That's different... Having Instant-on did not work for me...
