    so i was playing a game of r6 when all of a sudden i randomly got kicked out saying ive lost connection to xbox live. So i go to settings and try re-connect to the wifi but im not able to because of an "alternative mac address" so i cleared the mac address,
    went onto my pc ,found the mac address, entered that, didn't work. then i contact @XboxSupport on twitter to try help me. They just recommended me the stuff I've already tried, then they told me to fully wipe my console. I did so and now it asks me for my
    location, then language, then wifi but after that it just goes back to location and I'm stuck in a loop, I tried on multiple different wifis too so its inside the xbox, any help would be greatly appreciated!

    My series x is reading a wired connection even when there isn't one plugged in.

    I am in the same predicament as Nick cole44. My console shows that is connected to the internet via Ethernet cable but no cable is connected at all. I tried to setup through wifi but none of my wifi options show up. I factory reset my console now I can't even access the dashboard.

    i already reseted my modem twice and resetted my xbox twice.

    on my other devices my wifi works fine

    I normally connect through wireless ,but at the moment it won't connect automaticly as I've done a full reset trying to fix this issue,and can't go into my network settings on my console to connect my Xbox to the wifi

    Hi there (sorry for my english mistakes)

    I have probably the same issue.

    When I start or restart my Xbox one X it doesn't connect to my wifi network. The name of the wifi network is written but there is no connection

    I have already try :

    - To restart my router ==> I didn't change anything for month and it worked well with my first xbox one and my actual xbox one X before this issue. All my other devices (smart tv, phone, computer) are well connected to my wifi

    - To reconnect the xbox one x to the wifi with Settings / system / network / disconnect and then new connection

    - To power cycle the console, holding the start button for 10 seconds until the console shut down and disconnecting and reconnecting the power cable

    - To restart after clearing the mac adresse

    - To do a factory reset ==> The first start after the reset, i can reconnect the console to the wifi network (so I think I have no issue with my router), but if I shut down the xbox or restart the console. I lose the network. I have to do a new factory reset
    to reconnect the console
