: Xbox One not connecting to wifi 5G channel

Does the version of DD-WRT for your router have the option to set the 5GHz radio to "mixed" instead of N+AC? Several people on reddit, with older versions of the nighthawk router had to set their option to mixed for the Xbox One to connect.

Give that a try, and let us know if that allows the connection.

Who is your current Wifi provider and what router do you have ?

Am assuming you mean 5Ghz not 5G. 2.4Ghz travels farther reliably than 5Ghz how far and how many things are between the Xbox and the router? Distance may be your problem.

I've got the same problem. No other device is having any issue. Just the Xbox One X. Never had an issue before. But yeah, must be someone else's problem.
