Xbox one not capturing up to one hour.

If you are capturing to external storage it is possible to capture clips up to 1 hour in length.

Depends on the space of your harddrive. If you have a One X, you can capture in 4K for up to an hour on an external drive, if you have enough space on that drive for one hour of 4K video.

are you talking about pc, i don't have external storage

I just recently turned on my Xbox One today to check my system captures. And nothing but one screen capture I took a few days ago just showed up. No game record captures, as well. I think maybe all the screenshots and record captures got deleted by the
new February 2020 update. I highly doubt they expired. The Xbox Live captures are still there, just not the internal ones. I need help!

It actually is in relation to modern warfare. I have several friends that play and save clips all the time. I’m the only one that has this problem

Its been a constant issue on Xbox One X. Resets or re-installs of any kind won't help. Switching storage doesn't help either. What should be a 30 second capture ends up being 2 seconds or no capture at all. You should be able to capture to external storage
for up to 1 hour, but that lasts less than 30 seconds.
