Xbox One not booting properly

I have the standard Xbox One. For the past few months, once I power it on (with the controller or the console button), it goes to the green screen with the Xbox logo as seen in the attached picture. It then takes just over 1 minute to finish loading and take me to the dashboard. It does this every single time I turn on the console.

I've always had the fast load option where as soon as the console turns on, it goes straight to the dashboard in seconds. It never does this now. On top of this, some games have been corrupted and my dashboard background randomly went away. Please help me fix this.

Hello Antonio L! I'm Kris and I'd be happy to help you with your question.

Sorry to hear you are having an issue. Sounds like it could be the HDD is starting to fail. To start with, I would suggest doing a full power cycle by turning off the console using the button on the console and then removing the cable for 10 mins.

If that does not work, I would suggest resetting the Xbox, keeping apps and games and seeing if that helps.

and for the xbox to boot properly needs to have a hdmi connection, as the xbox most of the time will not boot unless it detects hdmi.

Remove your hard drive and then boot your xbox up - if it boots up properly then its a problem with your hard drive.

My One X just did the same thing, however it does not boot properly now either. The 4k chip animation and Xbox logo is laggy. Then the audio plays out of sync and it is stuck on the Xbox One logo....

I can use a transfer cable even when one of the 360's is dead and won't boot up properly?
