Xbox one Not able to clear Mac Address!

I have an xbox one 1540. My system works wired but will NOT work wireless. I have been through all sorts of troubleshooting steps, even bought a new wireless blue tooth card. No luck.

Under wireless no SSID even comes up( all other device on home connecting ok even xbox one my brothers)

I can type in any name (even fake) and get the same error. Your security Protocol wont work.

Mine is WPA2 personal(I have gone in router setting and turned off security still no luck)

When I go into Mac alternative to clear and restart. I hit restart but nothing happens. Also in setting my port says 0.When I click on advanced to change that it says port 3074. I am not able to change that( no drop down list)

I have tried a soft rest - hard rest - Factory reset everything. Still a no go.

So, the issue with your console, is the mac address only?

Or also the wireless connection to your internet?

Try this:

Call your internet service provider, and ask them to open the ports described below on your router.

Port 88 (UDP)

Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

Port 80 (TCP)

Port 500 (UDP)

Port 3544 (UDP)

Port 4500 (UDP)

Also ask to disable and then, enable it again the UPnP function and if you have a modem and a router the process has to be done on both devices.

Besides, ask them to put their console's IP in the DMZ zone configuration.

(To find the Xbox One IP address, press the Xbox button to open the dashboard, go to System > Settings > General > Network settings, then select Advanced settings.)

Also:

Press the Xbox button on your controller.

Go to Settings.

Select Network.

Select Network Settings.

Select Advanced Network Settings.

Select DNS Settings.

Select Manual and enter the following: Primary 8.8.8.8. Secondary 8.8.4.4.

The ports are open. I ha the UPNP disabled and enabled.Still nothing. My xbox does not have a Ip address. I did manually type in the DNS you gave it will not save. As to your question its the wireless that does not work. If I plug in a ethernet cable it works just fine.

Try clearing the MAC address. To clear the MAC address
- Go to settings -All settings- Network - Advanced network , Alternate Mac Address - clear. Your Xbox will restart

I would highly suggest clearing your mac address. To do this go into your Xbox One system settings -network settings- advanced network settings -click on alternate mac address -from here confirm the clear of the mac address and your console will
reboot. Hope this helps!
