    Hi Everyone

    I have been having internet issue with my Xbox One for the past couple of weeks. About 3 weeks ago my Xbox, which had been working fine on Ethernet for the past two and a half years, suddenly stopped being able to connect to Xbox Live. We ran network tests
    with the Ethernet cable connected and the results showed that everything was normal apart from our upload speed which had dropped to zero from its normal ~45Mbps. We got the same result after swapping Ethernet cables and trying differnt ports on our router.
    We disconnected the console from Ethernet and tried wireless, this appeared to fix the issue as we were able to connect to Xbox Live once again, and everything seemed normal in the networking tests. However when we went to download WW2 the game took a very
    long time to download as the download speed would greatly fluctuate, to the points where it was downloading in the Kbps and even at stages with zero download speed. We have have also been getting kicked from online lobby’s as we lose connection.

    I know this is not an issue with our home network, as we normally have a constant download of ~100Mbps and upload of ~45Mbps. We also have two other Xbox ones on the same network which have no multiplayer issues and download WW2 with no trouble at all.

    Hello Daniel - I have solved the problem. The issue was that with a network like the Google Nest you can pause internet to certain devices. I had paused internet to the Xbox One through my google home app. Therefore the Xbox could connect to my Wi-Fi, but was unable to receive internet. Xbox was interpreting this as a Update issue, where the issue was really the lack of internet. Once I unpaused the internet to Xbox, the issue was resolved.

    My provider has come multiple times and the internet isn’t the issue. Like I said in my post my roommates have 0 problem with connectivity issues.

    I have the original Xbox one. This problem occurred with not only Call of Duty: Modern Warfare ll but Vanguard as well too. I tried a different wifi too along with testing my network and internet connection, it appears to be fine, but the problem is still persisting. My Xbox live appears to be active and isn’t prompting me to connect to Xbox live. I also checked my privacy and online safety settings and there appears to be no restrictions and allows me to play any video game on the Xbox one. I also restarted and power cycled my console in order to attempt to resolve the problem, but the same issue stills keeps happening.
