    Hi. I bought my Xbox 1 about 9 months ago. No probs until last week when the network connection stopped. I was using a cable (The cable works perfectly on my TV). Tried going wireless about 20 times. Troubleshooting stated that I am connected. When I go
    to play a game or try to access store, a message come up telling me that I am not connected. This is driving me mad and there is no-one from Microsoft to help. I am cutting my losses and going PlayStation. I've been with the various Xbox consoles for well
    over 10 years, but NEVER again.

    Have you tried to see what you NAT settings are, you can find out under Settings, then Network.. THe NAT will let you see that you are connected, but sometimes, if it is strict, wont let you connect. IF it is Strict or Moderate, I woudl restart your router
    and then yoru xbox one,so the router can identify and see the new device

    You can either go to the party app from the home screen, say "Xbox Go To Party", or snap the party (say "Xbox Snap Party"). Within the party window, you should see various options including "Turn Party Chat On."

    If you still have issues starting a party chat I suggest you to check your NAT settings and set them to open.

    Mine only does that when I do a reset. No idea why it would be doing that if you arent doing a reset.
