Xbox One: Network Issue; I'm Online but I'm not?

I'll be straight forward and short.

I have one of the earlier 2015 Xbox One console's with the Kinect that shorted out within it's first few days of use that included Forza. When I learned Time Splitters was being added to the store, I hopped on and discovered the the store app wasn't updating. I check my network connections and discovered my XBOX was connected to my router. I tested my network connection, Xbox claims it's coming back with green lights (A standard 'It's all good') but when testing everything else; it can't make heads or tail's so I'm kinda lost here. can I get some direction of what I'm doing wrong or need to do?

Hi there mutedkNight welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Try the following!

Open the Xbox Guide by pressing the guide button on the controller and select

Settings.

Select Network Settings.

Select Advanced Settings.

Under Change Settings select Alternate MAC Address.

Select Clear.

Allow the console to restart when prompted.

1. Is this issue happening with other non-Call of Duty games?

2. Is this issue happening with other Xbox Profiles?

3. May we have the exact error message prompted?

I'm having very similar issue - network settings says that I'm connected, but detailed network status says that I'm not. I can access the online store, and see which of my friends are online and what they are doing, but when trying to load into destiny,
I get a "no network connection" error, and the game won't start. I'm at a loss as to what to do, as I've tried all the troubleshooting steps on the xbox website, but still having issues.

Sorry to hear you're dealing with this problem.

If you don't mind me asking, how long has this been affecting you?

I only ask as we are currently having problems with our
Xbox Service Status so that could be the issue. The issue is currently affecting profiles and information for them such as progress and gold access.

I would going to that page and having Xbox notify you when the problem is resolved on our end and see if it goes back to normal.

If it doesn't after the service alert is resolved, then I would first try powercycling your console following the steps outlined here at

How to restart or power cycle your Xbox One console. to see if that helps you out.

Give that step a shot and let us know how that helped.
