I use a wifi extender plus 2 homeplugs and a ethernet switch whole house is covered

wired connection is always best. wifi boosters work ok but power line adaptors work well and allow you to use a wired connection, anything else would be more isp side of things.

To be very honest, there are a couple of variables in that regard and the best long term option would simply be to move the hard ware.

Although it would require another cable, since your current speed is slower an extender isnt going to necessarly increase speed but rather it will increase stability by increasing your range. *waves do not radiate at the exact same dimensions with each pulse
as a result; increased range increases the likely that your device receives coverage* weigh out the difference considering some of the above then determine whether or not thats cost effective. If you device isnt consistantly receiving full coverage then the
extender should solve the issue. Otherwise, move z unit.
