Hello there, my son tried to update minecraft on xbox, the game told it was a free update, but when we go to get it, it says you have to buy it for 19.99€, whats's wrong? Can you help me? thanx

minecraft better together

i have minecrfat xbox one disc version and i have played way more than 5 hours in the past year so why isnt the new minecraft for free in the store for me?...when the popup to get better together for free does show i click on it and it takes
me to the store but it doesnt say its free instead it says it costs £17

Thank you for the help, in the mean time I have realised that the key I bought is for xbox s and not pc I'm currently trying to solve the problem with the retailer but i don't see much hope. Do you now a way to transfer the game or a way for me to play it on my pc (I don't have a xbox). The game's name is Minecrfat dungeons ultimate edition.
If there is nothing that we can do than could you instead tell me how I can close this?
