xbox one mic problem

I have had the Xbox one since day one and I have barely used my mic attachment. I tried using it and it just doesn't work, I have sound coming through but I can't talk to people on it. I really dont know what to do, I've done everything I've been told
to do it still doesn't work.

It seems to be happening to a lot of folks, me included. That said, getting an answer from these folks in a timely manner is about as easy as getting blood from a stone.

For my xbox one headset, my friend and I are in a party and I can hear him talking through my mic but when I talk he can't hear me. When I talk, the green circle lights up and my mic is not muted and I also tried turning off my xbox and unplugging it and
nothing worked. I don't know what to do and I hope someone on hear can help me fix this problem.

 

Same problem here. Me and my friend are having the same problem... I just would like to know if MS is goint to do something about it, I guess that many other people are having the same problem or it will have.

@Arierom- Are you having the same issue? From the looks of you GT account color your a Silver member. Did your gold run out? You must have a Gold account to use the chat feature

 

I've tried all of that and I have two mics and they work at times and then quit on me. Complete bs the buttons work on the mic and light up and make the volume noises but no chat I've tried messing with the settings too
