Xbox one MFR question

Hi. I am asking this question. Regarding the sale of a new Xbox One. If purchasing a brand new Xbox One console now, is it common that the MFR date will often be over one year before purchase?

Example: Brand new Xbox One S bought at Argos in 2019, with an MFR date being 2017-04-01.

Box is bought at Argos? Maybe to ask them about the issue? Like college said the warranty is starting at the date of purchase. Probably the best thing if you are concerned is to ask the shop.

It's not common, but it's probably just old stock, and as everyone on here has stated, the warranty starts from date of purchase.

AFAIK, the manufacturers warranty starts the date of purchase. However, for a confirmation you could reach out to
