Xbox one media player error 0xc00d11cd all file types

I can't remember the exact date or if anything significant happened. But all of a sudden my Xbox media player quit recognizing NEW files I added to my external hard drive. Most are mp4, mp3 and mvk. It will play any file I had on before. But at some point
it time it decided it wouldn't read any new files I add. I've tried switching usb ports. Resetting. As well as uninstalling/reinstalling media player. All filles from my external play fine on my laptop.

Updates on 0xc00d11cd (0x80070001) error?

To clarify, what are the file types for the files on the drive? Not all fie types would be recognized by the system. There's more info on what file types are compatible in the

I have also tried different apps and they can't read the new files as well, they work fine on my laptop though.

Hi, the error is on the Xbox One X.

Error code per below:

0xc00d11c6 (0x8007000e)

The above code only appears on the "media player" app.

The note will say:

"Sorry, the app needs to restart"

Understand that the Xbox is a versatile media player however just about any content/file type I play through it the video either gets pixelated,frequently pauses or stops. The streaming isn't smooth.

I have also tried various apps such as Media Player, Media Player Pro and VLC.
