Xbox one makes a sound, the xbox button lights up and then shuts down

I've been having some trouble with turning on my Xbox one recently. Last time I used it, the console froze, so I tried to restart it, but since then it won't turn on. When I try to turn it on, it makes a sound and the xbox button on the front of the console lights up but that's it. It shows that no signal screen on my TV. I tried to use other HDMI cables and even a different monitor but that doesn't seem to be the problem. The controller doesn't connect to the xbox too. I tried inserting and ejecting a disk and it works but the screen stays the same.

Thank you for your kind words. I'm using the original Xbox One console.

Getting it serviced isn't something I'd hoped that would be the solution but I'll get it repaired

Hi,

its not working when I hold the BIND that's on the right for me and then the EJECT button that's on the left it make a duhhh noise is the best way to describe it then I click to Xbox power button and it starts up like normal and also makes the startup noise
then the xbox light is lit for 3 or 4 secs and makes a shut down noise and then the light goes off. To be honest to me its like the xbox turn on as normal but doesn't know what to think or boot and it protocol is just to shut down it seems to not know the
command for the factory reset menu.... if I just click EJECT it will act normal like its ejecting a disk and the xbox light is lit and then goes off

Also someone said on a forum that if the Xbox HDMI is not plugged in it will just shut down is this true.

And no matter what if I click the power button it will always power up and do the same thing am just trying to rule out it its a power supply issue.

Oh and it doesn't shut down unless I hold the power button down for several seconds. Otherwise the screen goes blank but the Xbox light blinks for all eternity and never fully shuts down.

Make sure hold the power down to shut the system off. Once it is off hold down the power and eject buttons, you will have to hold them down for a while and don't let go until you hear the sound (the power light but turn on but DO NOT let them go until the
sound comes). I held mine down for like 1 min and then it will auto discovery the proper resolution for your TV,
