Xbox one loud beep

I am getting a loud beep from by xbox one, it just started and seems to only happen on games I have/need a disc for. Here is a sample of exactly what it sounds like:

What could this be?

Also, when I try to turn the volume up or down on the adapter I hear a loud beep through the headset

Anyone else having issues with freezing/crashing?

Having the same issue it just started happening last night. Makes a really loud beep noise repeatedly before it happens too.

Hi Anticonhaiku,

Sorry you're having issues with your console. That sounds like it's mechanical, and not an electronic beep. I would suggest trying to use some compressed air to try to blow out the console. If that doesn't work, then you may want to send your console in
for service using

Do you still have a warranty on the console? You may need to contact live support and report it.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

its not uncommon for this to happen, longer boot up times means it was either disconnected from the mains or from the internet and its getting the info it needs before loading up.

If the fan is making a noise this is due to dust build up on the blades.

the deep is letting you know its booting up.

i don’t find anything out of the miss but if you ain’t happy and it’s still in warranty either send it in for repair or replace it.
