xbox one login slow and general system slowdowns.

Alright guys and gals, looked over a few places and couldnt find a really good answer. me and my gf both got our ones at the same time. hers from almost the beginning has taken forever to log her in. plus some issues loading apps on my live account from
her xbox EX: watching netflix in living room. turn my one off. go to turn hers on in bedroom, takes about 5 mins to sign her in then sign myself in go to load netflix whole box freezes.

Now the issue with the initial login on hers has been pretty well since we got them. Now my isue is my one is begining to act in the same manner, pauses on black screen to load games from the drive, clocked it earlier took me 2 mins 53 seconds to sign into
my one. last week didnt have this issue. anyone got any ideas? or are they basically ***? any helps appreciated folks

Slow downloads and slow connection in general

Sounds like a wireless interference issue. Tried a wired connection?

2 xbox ones on the same network require a router that can handle "multiple consoles" , even if they kinda worked in the past , the last update seems to have made it "harder " for some reason ....what kind of modem and router are you using , and who's your
isp ? if your using a "gateway" from your isp , I believe that is the weakspot...

 

Long logins and issues you describe usually mean the xboxs are fighting over the same ports and your router may not be sure where to route the traffic...

 

Thanks for the info man, routers just a lynkses, modem is motorolla, internet is eastlink not 100% on the speed of the internet though. any ideas on fixing the issue though? just buy a new router that can handle the multiple systems i guess would be the
simple fix.

 

well the Linksys is usually a good setup , need the model number , to test if your router is holding you back , bypass it and plug one of the xboxs straight into the modem , (hard reset both ) and see how it acts , do the network test from there also and
see what it says...

 

I've had issues with this as well. It been happening way before my brother got an Xbox One. It seems to load up much faster with instant on enabled. My Internet used to be powered by a linksys but now it's powered by a gateway. I think it's the standard
one Xfinity gives you.

 

I'm having the same issue. I didn't have any issues prior to the major system upgrade. Now, my login takes about 2-3 minutes. Unlike RS86, I don't have multiple consoles on my system. It's an inconvenience at most, but it irks me because this new update
was supposed to make things faster...

 

I am having the same problem as Jorge. The login never fails, it takes several minutes to complete since the upgrade went out.

 

I am also having this long log in problem. I only have the xbox one on, and it takes a good 2-5 minutes to sign me in before going to my home screen. This has been since the last update.

 

Anybody having the long log in should try and remove the profile , hard reset the console , then re add the profile ...that USUALLY clears things up...
