Xbox one live won't connect after system update

    Xbox one live won't connect after system update


    Since an update was installed days ago I can no longer come t to Xbox live. Wifi is conmected and check say, "It's all good," but it still won't connect. No error code.

    Okay, I tried both the USB and CD or DVD method, and neither worked. While I have the system update CD in the Xbox, it will prompt me with a message saying "Your console is up to date." If I'm connected to internet (still not Xbox LIVE, though), it will
    immediately after prompt me with another message saying "A system update is available from Xbox LIVE. If you decline, you won't be able to connect to Xbox LIVE until you take the update. Visit xbox.com/update for more info. Do you want to apply the update
    now?", and this is the same 'update' that won't process.

    It tells me to update my system, yet when I click yes I get this message. It connects to the internet but won't connect to xbox live

    Xbox one live won't connect after system update

    on xbox.com, download the approrpriate update for your console and install it to a USB drive.

    then manually update your xbox with the USB drive, it may just be a corrupted update that you had.

    If this issue started directly after an update, you may need to update again. If your console won't work properly when connected to LIVE, there are a couple options to update your console manually while offline. Check out this page for steps and download

    Go to Dashboard > Settings > System > Console Settings > System Info

    Look on the right, and read Dashboard version. Post what it says here.

    When you said in your OP, "... and now when I connect to LIVE it won't let me update to the LATEST version..." What does that mean? Won't let me? Does that mean you're getting a onscreen prompt, if so what does that say?

    Is it one this?

    • Can't download the update. To test your connection, open System Settings and select Network Settings, Test Xbox Live Connection.
    Was it an error code comprised of six groups of four digits? Or no prompt or error at all? Does the system update prompt appear but not go through when you initiate it?

    Because... if you can connect to Live you have the latest system update.

    If your console is connected to Xbox Live, you have the latest console software. When you connect to Xbox Live, you are automatically prompted to update your software if an update is available.

    Well mine won't finish updating. Something went wrong and the update just stopped. After I tried again it won't do it. I lost the connection to xbox live and when I test the connection, it says I need to update, and when I try to update it says it can't
    connect. Somehow I got in a loop of fml.
