    Xbox one lags terribly on xbox live


    Hi, my son has an Xbox One and it has terrible lagging especially when using Xbox live. Ive tried to contact Xbox about it but cant seem to find a phone number or get through to anyone via any other method. Very frustrating. I have tried all the recommendations
    I can find online and we have tried using a hotspot via an iphone to ensure its not our internet connection. It still lagged. Its fine when being used for netflix etc its just on things like Fifa and its causing my son to become very frustrated when playing
    and it just stops or freezes and then catches up but hes missed a goal or whatever. Can anyone help?

    really playing with lag is terrible, I advise you to play with the internet cable connected to the console for sure the experience will be different.

    Hi! is the xbox connected via wifi or ethernet? Make sure that your son is playing on servers of the same region you live in or this can cause lag.

    Go to settings > network settings> speed and statistics to see what internet speeds you are getting to find out if that is an issue. Also of he is playing from a disc it could be a disc issue. The phone number is 1-800 -4- my -Xbox.

    Solution found to XFinity TG862 wireless connectivity issue with XBOX360 slim model.

    This does nothing. I've always had firewall on low and have always had this problem with my xfinity modem. If I'm able to connect to xbox live the lag in multiplayer games is terrible.

    +1 - Running Win 8.1 and there's terrible lag and poorer video quality in the HDMI passthrough. I liked having the Xbox One "skin" though. I hope they fix this in the next update.
