Xbox one lagging and crashing

my Xbox one lag and crash at random, and It seems to happen whenever I play games online or with my friends. I have tried restarting it, disconnecting it from the internet, factory resetting it, and everything else I could think
of. if anyone else has had this problem and fixed it, please let me know how you did it.

Xbox One instability

Don't think the One crashes more. Have heard that Xbox Live is less stable for multiplayer on the One though with more lag issues.

Lagging + Crashing?

I was having lag trouble. Turned out my router went bad. No seems to be better. But with people limiting there upload not sure how things can get better except activision taking over hosting duties.

Perform a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

This sounds absolutely ridiculous
So we established that: Consoles have more memory than my REALLY low tier smart tv and also low tier tablet and even phone. And yet, neither of those devices lag or crash when I stream video from a website. Edge on my Xbox One S lags and crashes and it's the website's fault?

Crashes? What do you mean by crashes.?

I've always had lag off and on, but it's never crashed for me.
