    Xbox one lag with good connection


    My online experience was great until about a month ago and now I'm unable to do any kind of online gaming without terrible lag. My download speed is 15.30 and upload is 3.10. I've had much worst speeds in the past yet it wass still playable my ps4 and Xbox
    360 work fine. Please help

    Lag with good modem connection?

    Can someone explain to me why this is happening? It's been going on all week online playing COD. Very annoying and frustrating

    Bad lag with good connection

    I am suffering with severe lag even though my internet is higher than 10mb/s. I have tested my xbox live connection and it says that everything is perfectly up and running. I've tried forwarding the ports, redownloading my account, disconnecting and reconnecting
    to the router, turning off the router, clearing my cache, and nothing solves my problem. I connected to my iphone's hotspot and it ran perfectly fine with no lag whatsoever. I just moved a couple months ago, and I played perfectly fine with the exact same
    internet and router for about a month. Then this happened. Where I lived before I had a really crappy 3 mb/s connection and I played without lag. It's really annoying.

    Hence why its called lag compensation. It screws with the connections to make people with bad connections have better ones and people with good connections to have worse ones. They put it in so they could make the game fair for the people with bad connections
    but it really has ruined the game for a lot of people.

    lag comp ....... the all purpose excuse.

    Good connection, bad connection, cant aim, doesnt matter .... its lag comp's fault.

    We dont even have lag anymore .... just lag comp.

    Is there going to be a patch for the lag compensation thing?

    Its anti-lag if you have a slow connection ;) but its lag compensation if you are on a good connection. Its all marketing.

    Halo 4 is the laggiest piece of crap

    My connection is good. I see no lag, just the others lag sometimes.

    It is annoying when they lag, looks weird xD

    I'm sorry to hear about the issue. Does this happen with every game or only some? Which games are you running into issues with? Does the issue persist if you connect your console to your network using a wired connection?
