Xbox One Kinect wires on Console

    Xbox One Kinect wires on Console


    I ve had the wires fall and hit the console a couple times as it constantly lays on top of it. Ive always had that fat thing of the Kinect wire touch the side of the console.Should my Xbox one be fine. It's on the left side of the console where the wires
    touch.

    no led turns on my kinect when i turn the console (xbox 360 slim) on but when i change the wire using the complete wires it turns on but dont work at all please help me. sorry for my english im from brazil

    Hiding Xbox One with Kinect behind a wall

    Your controller will still work as long as it's synced to the console. You should run into any problem. Also, Might I recommend the xbox one Kinect tv mount if your going to have you Kinect set up like that. It will look even better when trying to hide wires.

    If you haven’t connected to Xbox Live recently, your Xbox One console may need an update. To update your console, connect to Xbox Live by using a wired or wireless connection.

    When your console is connected to Xbox Live, available updates are automatically installed. After the updates are installed, test your Kinect sensor and try these steps again if necessary.

    If you didn’t have your Kinect sensor plugged in when your console took an update, follow these steps to update your sensor:

    Scroll left from the Home screen to open the guide.

    Select Settings.

    Select All Settings.

    Select Kinect & devices.

    Select Kinect.

    Verify that Kinect on is selected.

    Are you using the Xbox 360 with Kinect, or do you have an Xbox One with Kinect 2?

    Also do you have an original Xbox One with Kinect directly connected to the console, or a Xbox One S or X with a separate Kinect Adapter to connect Kinect to your S or X console?

    If you have an external Kinect adapter for S or X consoles, what color is the light on the adapter?
