    Xbox one keeps turning off after updating


    Xbox one stated it required an update. Hit update. It turned off and came Back on asking for a sign in. Turned Xbox off when came back on it stated we thought you needed an update for a game but we see that you didn’t then it turned back off. Now when turning it on it keeps completing shutting off. What may be the issue to causing this havoc?

    Yep. No affect.
    The xbox one has updates sometimes when the console is off. Does the drive keep spinning for more than 10 minutes after you turn off the console?

    Also, does the drive park when the console turns off? And it keeps spinning?

    Have you tried a system reset? If that doesn't work then maybe the next update will fix it. And you can just unplug the Kinect from the XB1. But if you like Kinect it's a bummer that it's messed up.

    This didn’t work, the problem is still there. Every time you back out of audio, settings or if you restart the Xbox the optical out automatically turns off.
