Xbox One keeps powercycling on its own

I'm sorry to hear that you are having this problem, if it is some kind of error resulting from an interrupted update, it could be resolved with a factory reset of the console. It's a reset of your console to factory settings, but it doesn't uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues. Follow these steps:

1. Press the Xbox Button to open the guide.
2. Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console information.
3. Select Reset console.
4. On the Reset console? screen. You will see three options and you must select reset and keep my games and apps.

Do you get an error message when it goes offline? In the network settings or otherwise? Or do you just have the comfort of the console saying "bye" to you? If you have no error messages anywhere, I would try a power cycle. That is only because the 3rd

If your Xbox is shutting down because it is overheating, make sure that there is some adequate "breathing room" around the console and power supply so the internal fans in both devices will be able to circulate air.

Check if your power supply is connected directly to the wall outlet, and not behind a surge protector.
