Xbox one issues

I recently got the new xbox one and I think it's defective. For one it takes about an hour to download the game to the consequences. Then it seems to freeze all the time and a lot of the times will say xbox live isn't available and I'll have to restart the
console for it to work. I was playing need for speed and at first none of the buttons worked when I was in the car. I had to restart it and then it worked for a awhile then the car froze while I was driving and I had to restart the console. Then on NBA 2k14
it will say the 2k server isn't available and if I play a quick game or restart the console it will sometimes work. Also on the NBA if I try to play a team match it will freeze after it says synchronizing match. I'm installing call of duty now and am going
to see how that plays but I'm wondering is this just some early console glitches that everyone else is experiencing or is my favorite console defective?

Xbox one issues

There is now a problem when inserting games. Upon pressing The eject button Xbox one ejects the games then quickly pulls them back in. Also after putting in a new game xbox tells me error and I then restart the Xbox one everything is fine until I eject a
game.

 

There are explanations for at least some of your issues:

1) It does take a fairly long time to install a disc based game to the hard drive, especially if there is a game update available because that is downloaded before the installation begins.

2) I understand that the 2k servers have been up and down and generally unreliable. At this time, NBA 2k14 apparently is pretty buggy also.

 

On another note what is your download speed shown in the Network Performance test ? I have run into a lot of people who are rocking .50 to 1 mbps which is really terrible.

 

It could be the console. I always just recommend contacting support for a replacement console. My console works perfectly (luckily!) so I always try to help on the forums here.
