Xbox One is the worst consoles in my long history of console play - [Mod Removed -...

Before anybody tries to tell me my settings are wrong - I want you all to know that I've set all the settings to keep it updated, turn on to update, etc.

Spent time on the forums trying to minimize the update interruptions.

I don't play a lot of games...maybe once every few weeks & when I pop in a game I expect to be playing my game in short order but can't do that with this piece of junk.

First - for the record, your menu [Mod Removed - Inappropriate] - not intuitive at all & sooooo pushy about their stupid store & logging in.

It's a game console guys - when I sit down, I want to play a game not wade through an hour of updates & logging in & errors & restarting, etc, etc, etc.

So, haven't played in maybe a couple months...been busy so sue me

Started up the console - had about an hour to try out Red Dead Redemption 2 my wife bought me for my birthday...now 50 minutes later here I am spending my last 10 minutes complaining because the whole time this [Mod Removed: Profanity]
console has been updating...after having an issue wanting me to sign in so I can check my setting, then because I hadn't logged in for a couple months I had problems with my account & ended up resetting my email password (because I forgot they made me set
up my Microsoft account even though I don't pay for Live & it's not really any of their business if I even have a Microsoft account since I spent $400 on their
[Mod Removed: Profanity] console)

...but that aside...I guess I'd set up my email account last time since that's the only microsoft account I have & forgot about it

So I really resent having to have a Microsoft account since I really just want this to be a game console & don't need another hacker target with my email password on it - but no, don't have an option...thanks Microsoft.

So here I am spending my last 10 minutes here - letting you guys know how

Just so you know - this has happened the last 4-5 times I tried to play a game...like I said, doesn't happen that often but after this time I can tell you that I will never be buying another xbox.

I will not support you putting out a needy, intrusive, glitchy & annoying piece of
[Mod Removed - Inappropriate] because you were "trying to be a home entertainment center" or whatever that line was during development.

Well- let me lay it out for you - Amazon & google beat you to the punch on the home thing - give it up, the Xbox is a game console, will never be more than a game console, nobody is going to use it to do much of anything but play games & maybe some music
so why don't you just embrace that & go back to the old "you put a game in & play it" that got everybody hooked on gaming consoles.

Seriously though...can i PLEASE just put in a game & start playing 5 minutes later like the good ole days? I really miss that...oh...and you
[Mod Removed - Inappropriate] Microsoft.

ETA: for the record, I did not cuss in this post - the word that was censored childishly by the mod was a benign term for not being good is 5 letters long, starts with an SU & ends with a KS - it was not profanity & wouldn't even get a 4th grader sent to
the principle but the mod chose to make it look like I was cussing so whatever.
