    Hello,

    So I've had my Xbox One since Day One, and now I'm starting to experience a problem. I turned on my Xbox One to play some CoD and so when I was trying to play, it reads my disc and shows the load screen of the Call of Duty dude in the mask but then after
    the screen goes black and stays black. When I play other games it loads. My Call of Duty disc also has no scratches on it either. Help?... Thanks.

    My Xbox One is reading discs

    So I recently purchased my Xbox One not too long ago (it came with fallout 4). I set it up perfectly fine, and I put Fallout 4 in with no trouble and sounded perfect. It made the usual spinning noises nothing out of the ordinary. But after a few seconds
    nothing happened the game wouldn't load. So I tried a couple different things I did a hard reset didn't work. I tried the usual Microsoft "answer to everything" method by holding the power button then removing the power cord for a few minutes. And to no avail
    it still didn't work I tried it once more and still nothing. I really hope I won't have spend another hundred dollars on getting it fixed.

    My Xbox One is reading discs

    Check the disc game for damages, if that is the case you have to replace the disc . If there are no damages visible try another disc game to check the functionality of the disc driver.

    To file for repairs: Create Xbox Console or Kinect Service Order | Xbox Repair

    Uninstall and reinstall disk m8,and hard reboot inbetween,if that dont work,replacement Xbox One is reading all my discs but one. :), the insurance for £1 on each xb1 disk is well worth it.

    I've had problems with COD not loading as well. Try a hard reboot, it worked for me.

    Uninstall and reinstall disk m8,and hard reboot inbetween,if that dont work,replacement :), the insurance for £1 on each xb1 disk is well worth it.

    There are different reasons why your Xbox One console is not reading a disc. To gain a better grasp of your concern, let's answer the following questions:

    Xbone won't read forza but works fine with other games

    I've had problems with all of my Xbox One discs no reading correctly at one time or another. It seems to happen about once every couple weeks.

    If the Xbox One can't read it I'll just give the disc a quick clean with a cotton cloth and reinsert. That seems to fix my issue every time.
