    XBox One is automatically clicking right


    Hello guys,

    my Xbox One Model 1540 is not working properly. It automatically clicks right. When I try to click to the left, it automatically clicks right again. Let me elaborate that with the example of the sign in. I can't sign in because it automatically selects "Skip sign in". I can click left to select my account but it automatically clicks right again on "Skip sign in". This happens within milliseconds. This problem occured after the update of a game. Before that everything was working perfectly fine.

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have question on function of controller. Right click on a mouse is to build/place. It would be LT/left trigger on an Xbox controller. You can always go to settings in game and look at controller layout also.

    Thanks for the reply. I'm sorry to hear that the issue persists for the connectivity of the Xbox One controller on PC.

    I recommend to try uninstalling the Driver and reconnecting the controller.

    Try this:

    1) On your keyboard, press the Win+R (Windows key and R key) at the same time to invoke the run box.

    2) Type devmgmt.msc and press Enter on your keyboard. This is to open Device Manager.

    3) Expand category “Microsoft Xbox One Controller” and right click on the device. Then click Uninstall.

    4) When prompted to confirm the uninstall, check “Delete the driver software for this device” if you see this option then click the OK button. If not, just click the
    OK button.

    5) Unplug the Xbox One Controller.

    6) Restart your PC.

    7) Plug the controller again. Windows will install the driver automatically.

    8) In Device Manager, right-click on the device and click Update Driver Software…

    9) Click Search automatically for Updated driver software. Then Windows will install a new driver automatically.

    Try this and let us know the results.

    Thanks for the update on the issue. To help clarify a bit more, are you using a wireless adapter on the PC to connect to the controller?

    This sounds like the controller is still connected to your PC. Try disconnecting the controller from the PC or try removing the driver for the controller.

    Try this:
