    Consoles vs inernet

    So my question comes down to one topic, internet connection.I live in a rural area so my internet connection is a Verizion MiFi 3g hotspot, because that is all that is offered here. I currently have a PS3 and 360. I am looking to get a Xbox One but want to make sure I am utilizing all that it has to offer. Right now the PS3 is horrible on Internet issues. Downloads take forever, if they download at all, same with system updates. The 360, however is amazing. Downloads and system updates are quick and I've had no trouble downloading anything. I would like to know how the Xbox One is with 3g internet connectivity or does it require faster internet, that is not available to me

    The dashboard really needs some work

    The quality of the Xbox dashboard depends on your internet. Worse it runs, more likely you’ll also run into issues like shots not counting on games running off of Azure servers. The major ISPs in America are consistently getting away with throttling consumers. When you connect to a Microsoft server, your ISP will hop you through multiple other servers or hubs to get there. Wherever there is high congestion, you could get throttled. Getting throttled in one spot will ruin the entire connection.

    It’s more an issue of American shit internet infrastructure and there’s not one thing Microsoft can do at this point outside of building a UI that doesn’t rely on the internet like Sony does.

    I've tried that several times :( Now that I've factory reset the console I haven't even gotten far enough to be able to sign in to my profile.

    Heppeming toe now too. It's trying to force a system update but it won't work. Gives a "there was a problem with the update" error and aldse to retry. Tried several times but no luck. Also gives the option to check my internet connection which I have done
    several times as well and it's fine but still nothing. The only other option is to continue in offline mode which effectively rendersy Xbox useless. Restating, power cycling etc. doesn't help either. The error code is 8b0500b6 which has no results on the Xbox
    support site.
